Guidance Counselor
My name is Beth Pistilli, and I was born in a small town named Brockway, in Pennsylvania. My father was a middle school Art Teacher, and I followed in his footsteps and became a teacher as well. I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Clarion University in Pennsylvania. After college, I moved to Salisbury and started teaching right away. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught a few different age levels. My first long term position was teaching at Wi Middle. Next, I taught 1st Grade at Fruitland Primary. Then, I moved to Fruitland Intermediate where I taught 4th Grade for the majority of my time as an educator. The last two years as a classroom teacher, I taught 3rd Grade. After learning that I wanted to reach children on a deeper level, I went back to school and earned my master's degree in School Counseling at U.M.E.S. I love supporting children to help them be their very best. I have now been helping children learn and grow in Wicomico County for over 20 years! When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband and many pets. I also love growing all types of flowers in my garden and around my home.
